Please Note: We are pleased to offer complimentary transport between Jhansi Railway Station and Raj Vilas, Orchha for all our esteemed guests — both upon arrival and departure.
Fly In
1. Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi (DEL)
Delhi is a major international gateway with extensive flight connectivity. Guests arriving here are advised to take a direct train to Jhansi Junction (approx. 4-5 hours). From Jhansi, we will arrange transfers to the wedding venue.
2. Gwalior Airport (GWL)
Located approximately 120 km from Orchha, Gwalior is the closest airport. From here, guests may take a cab or a short train ride to Jhansi Junction (approx. 1 - 1.5 hours). From Jhansi, we will arrange transfers to the wedding venue.
Take a Train
For those journeying to the celebration by rail, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Station (VGLJ) is the nearest major railway station, conveniently located just 30 minutes from Raj Vilas Palace, Orchha. We will provide complimentary pick-up and drop-off services from Jhansi for all guests.
From Delhi
Frequent trains, including the Gatimaan Express, connect Delhi to Jhansi in approx. 5 hours. Departures available from Hazrat Nizamuddin (NZM) and New Delhi (NDLS).
From Gwalior
A short, convenient ride of 1- 1.5 hours connects Gwalior to Jhansi, with multiple daily departures—ideal for guests flying into Gwalior Airport.
From Mumbai
Overnight trains such as the Punjab Mail, Kushinagar Express, NZM Rajdhani operate from CSMT and LTT stations to Jhansi (approx. 13-18 hours).
From Surat
Direct trains like the Udyogkarmi Express and ST MFP Express connect Surat to Jhansi in approx. 16–18 hours. Board from Surat (ST), Udhna (UDN), or Bhestan (BHET).
We kindly request that you share your travel details at least 3 weeks in advance, so our arrangements can be made with due precision.

All guests will be graciously hosted at the Raj Vilas Palace, Orchha, the majestic setting for our wedding festivities.
Guests will be allotted rooms within the palace grounds; no separate booking is required.

1. When and where is the wedding taking place?
The wedding will be held at Raj Vilas, Orchha, Madhya Pradesh on November 21–22, 2025. Kindly refer to Events for detailed event timings.
2. Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The celebrations include a mix of indoor and outdoor venues across the palace property.
3. What's the weather like in Orchha in November?
Orchha enjoys pleasant weather in November—cool mornings and evenings with warm afternoons. We suggest packing a light shawl for evening events.
4. What events are planned for the wedding?
We have a series of beautiful celebrations lined up over two days with guest checkout on November 23 at 10AM. Please refer to Events for the full schedule and details.
5. What is the dress code for each event?
Each event has a distinct color theme. Kindly visit the Events section for guidance on suggested attire.
6. Will there be a photographer? Can we take pictures?
Yes, professional photography and videography will be arranged. To preserve the sanctity of our ceremonies, we kindly request limited phone use during rituals. Feel free to take photos before and after the events — but please avoid stepping in front of the official photographers or videographers while they’re working, so they can do their best to capture the magic.
7. Do you have a hashtag we should use for photos/videos?

8. What’s the best way to reach the venue?
Guests may fly to Delhi or Gwalior Airport and take a train to Jhansi. Complimentary pickup will be arranged from Jhansi Railway Station. Please refer to the Travel section for details.

All guests will be accommodated within Raj Vilas, Orchha. Accommodation details are available in the Stay section.
12. Are meals included with the stay?
Yes, all meals will be graciously provided during the wedding festivities—including breakfast, lunch, high-tea, and dinner.

13. How do I RSVP?
The RSVP form can be found in the RSVP section of this website. Kindly submit form by September 1, 2025.
14. Will I get good mobile network at the venue?
Most major networks work well in Orchha. However, due to heritage architecture and garden areas, reception may vary. Wi-Fi will be available in guest rooms.
15. Are alcohol and smoking permitted at the venue?
Smoking and the consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited throughout the premises. This policy is in accordance with the heritage property’s regulations and the spiritual nature of our ceremonies. We deeply appreciate your understanding and respectful cooperation.
